About RTR

Rynlar Tack is an online tack shop, we don't have a shop but possibly later on we might get to a spot where we would like to have a shop at our barn. We are based out of Aurora, Colorado, as well as Longmont, Colorado.
Rynlar Restoration Tack was an idea that had evolved from the idea of how much tack is just thrown in a trunk, and never to be used again. It may be dirty from sweat and dirt, or perhaps missing some hardware, but it still is in good condition enough to be used for many more years. At RTR we buy tack, usually off craigslist, ebay, or forums. Then we will clean up the tack, condition the leather, shine up any silver, and fix anything that is semi-simple to fix.
We will buy your tack from you if you are wanting to sell any for under $50.00, total. Meaning the object and shipping totaled. If you are locally we will as well come pick the items up. We would like to look over the items before any money transactions are done, we don't want to be stuck with an item we can't sell.

The Owners

Ryan and Lauren are partners, and in the future would like to have a boarding facility and breeding facility for quarter horses. They have already decided a name for their facility being Rynlar, having it be a combination of their names. After the idea of needing more money and such together they thought that having a restoration tack shop would be some side income that would be enjoyable for both of them. As well as helping Lauren with school in going to Bel-Rea starting January 2009.

Lauren

Hello there, this is Lauren. I have worked with horses for about 8 years at an Arabian breeding ranch. I used to be a volunteer, and then was a barn manager "technically" at 13 years old. When I had some time off between chores at the barn I would at times find some tack, like for instance a ProCraft No Rub Padded Halter I had found in the trash just because the bottom 2 inches of the poll strap was frayed. I brought it home, and cut the end off then melted the nylon at the end so it wouldn't fray anymore. Then cleaned it with rocale and let it sit to disinfect it. After cleaning it up and fixing it was a great halter, no issues at all. I sold it for $15.00.
The idea of a restoration tack shop I thought was great being I like fixing/cleaning tack, I know weird liking, but why not have it be something that can bring in money.
starting Bel-Rea vet tech school in January to earn my CVT license.

I have been riding dirt bikes since I was three, and slowly learning the horse world as Lauren teaches me. I like doing hands on stuff being that I have fixed my own dirt bike since I can remember; sometimes with the help from my dad, but as of right now I fix my own dirt bike as well as my brothers. I'm one of those people that would rather be laying concrete, then working the cash register at Wal Mart.
